First post- Welcome!

Welcome to the blog! ‘cause everyone has a blog, right?

My plan for this space is to highlight projects that I am involved with and can share, bring attention to work and chemistry that I think is cool, and also potentially (I really hope!) be a resource for anyone interested in the challenges of commercializing chemistry and bringing green chemistry innovations to market.

My second goal is to invite discussion. I am excited to be working in a field that is constantly evolving and encompasses the advancement of new, exciting science and brilliant ways of implementing that science to create value and be commercially viable. I love to learn from others, and there is much to learn from both successes and setbacks. If you read anything that sparks a response, please leave a comment or contact me directly! I’d be thrilled to share a response with readers or create a post on the topic.

Finally, I owe a big thank you to the many exceptional people I’ve worked with- they include leaders in businesses, entrepreneurs, academics, and the entire community involved in green chemistry and commercialization in one way or another. It has been a privilege to interact with all these folks and I hope I can pass on some of the insight and learning that have come from this experience.
